An Introduction to Facebook Tab Applications

Every Facebook Page has a series of so-called “tabs” that lead to additional content and functionality beyond the main Wall. Facebook previously allowed marketers to designate a custom tab to appear to all users who visited their Page, but with the addition of Timeline, the social network no longer allows this. The company recommends Pages pin a post that links to a particular tab.
